Frequently asked questions
The things clients ask before the work starts. If your question is not here, describe the task and we will answer it specifically.
Ask your own questionThe timeline depends on the scope of work and on equipment lead times, so we give it after studying the site rather than before. At the start we agree the role of ITmathics and the scope of work, and the schedule follows from that. Supply against a ready specification takes noticeably less than a project with installation, integration and testing.
The standard warranty on supplied equipment is one year. Warranty and post-warranty service are available. Installation and configuration are included in the project cost by agreement; subsequent servicing and replacement are paid options.
Yes. We run projects for government organisations through procurement portals and the buyer's own procedures, working to the requirements of the tender documentation. Depending on the project we take on design, solution selection, supply, implementation, configuration and service.
Yes - that is one of our three formats of involvement: supply against a specification. We select available items and permitted equivalents, purchase them, arrange logistics and hand the equipment over. If there is no specification yet, we will put the solution together for the task.
Under project participation we take on installation, configuration, integration and testing. For server hardware, installation is carried out by agreement. For cloud, hybrid and other specialised tasks we form a project team with specialist partners and assign responsibility in advance.
We stay on for support: agreed service work, technical support and upgrades after launch. Support priority goes to clients who bought the equipment or the solution from us. Requests concerning third-party equipment are accepted after diagnostics and once terms are agreed.
Yes. We rent out printers, computers, coffee machines and restaurant equipment; other categories are available on request. Installation, servicing and replacement terms are fixed per category. Coffee equipment comes together with coffee supply.
We work with infrastructure already in place: modernisation, expansion and replacement of individual components, taking the compatibility of what is installed into account. We start by surveying the site and checking the technical constraints.
What people come to us with
A task is rarely phrased as the name of a service. Usually it sounds like this - and this is where it leads.
Where we work
We work across Serbia - from Subotica in the north to Prizren in the south.
We are based in Belgrade, but geography does not change the approach: logistics to the site goes into the costing from the outset. That is why we name a date after we have seen the site and priced the delivery - not before.
Tap your city and the enquiry form opens with it already filled in.
Serbia - the whole scope: design, supply, installation, service. In Kosovo we run projects. To Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro we supply equipment.
A short glossary
Quotations, declarations and tender documents are full of words that stand for concrete things. We have gathered them in one place, so that everyone is speaking the same language.
- Incotermsinternational commercial terms, icc
- A set of three-letter rules from the International Chamber of Commerce that splits carriage, insurance and customs formalities between seller and buyer and fixes the point where risk passes. Payment, title and warranty stay outside it and belong in the contract itself.
- Customs declarationsingle administrative document
- The filing that places goods under a chosen customs procedure; in Serbia it goes on the single administrative document, now almost always electronically. Whoever files it answers for the data, and it is the buyer's evidence of the duty and VAT charged.
- Structured cablingstructured cabling system
- A single cabling infrastructure for the building covering network and telephony: routes, sockets, patch panels and labelling to one standard. It lets you move workplaces around without pulling new lines.
