Server infrastructure and data centres

We design server infrastructure around the physical conditions of the site and the system requirements. Supply and installation of server hardware and a full data-centre build are scoped and agreed separately.

What it covers

Alongside the existing infrastructure

We also work with systems already running: modernisation to meet changed requirements. We start from the physical conditions of the site and the system requirements - the specification is the result of the analysis, not its starting point.

Design

  • Design for the site's conditions and system requirements

TermsRack and rack unit

Supply and installation by agreement

  • Supply for new systems and for modernisation
  • Installation - by agreement

TermsRAIDHot-swap

AI and LLM

  • Servers for AI and LLM workloads

To the agreed scope

  • Data migration, monitoring and support - in the agreed scope
  • Training for the client's staff

How we work in this area

The role is agreed at the start, not along the way.

Supply to specification

Selecting available items and permitted equivalents, procurement, logistics and handover of the equipment.

Project participation

Analysis of the task and an agreed scope of work: design, supply, installation, configuration, integration and testing.

Together with partners

For cloud, hybrid and other specialised tasks we form a project team with specialist partners and assign responsibility in advance.

Order of work

  1. Analyse
  2. Design
  3. Equip and implement
  4. Test and hand over
  5. Support
In detail - how we work

After launch

The standard warranty on supplied equipment is one year. Installation and configuration are included in the project cost by agreement; subsequent servicing and replacement are paid options.

Where our perimeter ends

Server equipment and building a data centre are often taken for the same thing. They are different jobs.

Our perimeter

Design of the server infrastructure, supply of equipment, installation by agreement, data migration, monitoring and support - to the agreed scope.

The full scope of creating a data centre

A different job and a different scope of work. This page is about server equipment and does not describe the full scope of creating a data centre.

What our processes are certified against

The company's processes are certified to five current ISO standards.

ISO 9001
Quality
ISO 14001
Environmental management
ISO 27001
Information security
ISO 45001
