How we work
At the start of a project we agree the role of our team against the brief, the competencies of everyone involved and the requirements of the documentation.
Task first. Technology second.
On project work the specification is the result of the analysis, not its starting point. We study the site, the requirements, the existing infrastructure and how it will actually be used, and we check technical constraints and compatibility. Installation, configuration, integration, operation and service are taken into account while the solution is still being designed.
Three ways we take part
The role is agreed at the start, not along the way.
Supply to specification
Selecting available items and permitted equivalents, procurement, logistics and handover of the equipment.
Project participation
Analysis of the task and an agreed scope of work: design, supply, installation, configuration, integration and testing.
Together with partners
For cloud, hybrid and other specialised tasks we form a project team with specialist partners and assign responsibility in advance.
Five stages of work
Analyse
The site, the requirements, the constraints, the documentation and the infrastructure already in place.
Design
The technical solution and the make-up of the equipment and systems.
Equip and implement
Supply, installation, connection, configuration, integration.
Test and hand over
Testing and putting the system into operation.
Support
Agreed service work, technical support and upgrades after launch.
Supply becomes part of one continuous piece of work - from preparing the solution to launch and support.
What we do ourselves, and what we do with partners
On our own
Our own ground is local infrastructure: workplaces, networks, storage and backup, server systems, meeting rooms, video surveillance and access control.
With partners
For cloud and hybrid scenarios we bring in specialist partners and divide responsibility in advance.
Own hosting, colocation, delivering a full cloud project single-handed and general construction are not part of what we do.
On what terms
What the project price includes, and what is paid for separately.
Warranty
The standard warranty on supplied equipment is one year.
Installation and configuration
Included in the project cost by agreement.
After launch
Subsequent servicing and replacement are paid options.
Support priority
Goes to clients who bought the solution from us. Third-party equipment - after diagnostics and agreement.
Tenders and procurement documentation
We run projects for government organisations through procurement portals and the buyer's own procedures, working to the requirements of the tender documentation.
Scope of involvement
Depending on the project we take on design, solution selection, supply, implementation, configuration and service.
Working to a specification
Selecting available items and permitted equivalents, procurement, logistics and handover of the equipment.
